Based on the Canadian Association of Optometrists guidance, the 20-20-20 rule means every 20 minutes, look at something about 20 feet away for 20 seconds. This gives your focusing system a short reset after sustained near work and can help reduce common digital eye strain symptoms such as tired eyes, blur, and discomfort during long screen sessions.
